Biography
The story of Nice Idiot isn't that much of a story.
Four guys post thirty playing teenage music.
Four nerds getting off on fast riffs and random stupidity.
Four sell-outs old enough to know what being a nice idiot means.
Enough said, let's go berserk.
News:
08-03-25- New show: Wednesday 7th of May at Klubb Garage, Märsta. Free show so make sure you show up! The first week of May will be a busy one for us, but that's how we like it.
08-03-14
- New show: we'll play @ Kafe 44, Thursday 8th of May with Sonic Ritual and Clutches. Expect an early show, around 19PM. Also, expect a lot of new tunes!
08-03-03
- Thanks to Janitory-Eric for the great show in Uppsala a couple of weeks ago, also mega thanks to Diskonto for lending us their gear.
- We've run into some scheduling conflicts, so the recording date has been rescheduled for the first week in May.
The good news is that we'll write even more new songs until then, maybe we'll even get the songs somewhat tight... One new title for ya: The Dog.
08-02-06
- We have a confirmed gig at Kungen in Sandviken on May 10th. Uran gbg will play as well.
- Before that happens we are going to drag our asses to the Garaget Studio again for a couple of nights in the end of March. We are planning to record the songs Assorted Maniacs, Mice-like Men, Tightass, The Rhinosaur, Bloodbank, Moment By Moment, Bullet Train To Transylvania and maybe one or two more. Ok, see you in Uppsala on Wednesday!

- We're playing at Klubb Dist in Uppsala on Wednesday the 13th of February with the mighty Diskonto. Make sure you show up!
07-09-26:
- Nice Idiot is about to invade foreign ground in October when we're going to Holland. We're playing Bloodshed, but we'll do no gore, only hardcore. Whatever.
- Thanks to everyone showing up at Club Distortion, and thanks for not leaving. The chaos of mothers of chaos.
- Some new song titles for a recording some time in the future: Bloodbank, The Rhinosaur, Tightass, Mice-like Men, Green Tea... That's it for now.
07-06-14:
- Sorry for the lack of updates! We're just a bunch of lazy punks. Anyway, here's some news:
- We have two shows confirmed. The first is in September at Club Distortion, Pub Anchor in Stockholm on September 6th.
Next up is the Bloodshed Fest on October 13th in Eindhoven. First gig for us abroad, thanks to Luc for inviting us!
- We're working on new songs right now, some titles are "The Rhinosaur" and "Bloodbank".
07-03-06:
- So, we're finished with our first recording. 7 songs, 12 minutes. Just the way it should be done, right?
The music was recorded live and we overdubbed vocals and solos, so the sound is kind of rough but that's the way we like it.

- The show with Sanctuary in Blasphemy went great.

- We've recorded the basic tracks (live in the studio) plus some vocals for 7 songs at Studio Garaget.
Next up is the rest of the vocals, some leads and the mix. We hope to get that done by early March.
